When I was young, I wrote all the time.
I threw away a lot back then because it wasn’t happy.
I didn’t share my writings with many people.
I’m glad I kept them.
Over the past year, releasing them here has been powerful for me.
Now that I’m well into my healing journey, I’ve read again the things that I wrote when I was young.
It gives me a deeper understanding of my hidden pain, isolation, desperation, and sadness.
My eyes have been opened to what I struggled with in silence for so very long.
It shows me how far I’ve come as a human and from my trauma.
To see what I felt then, and to feel that there is something more out there for me now is amazing.
It fills me with more love inside. I am in my awakening and it is beautiful.
To be able to write, with the possibility that it to might help someone, is a miracle for me.
