I gave you my heart.
That was a first,
My start.
I set my loyalty,
On high,
But it only left,
Me to cry.
You were my hero,
My first friend,
I didn’t know how quickly,
That would all end.
I always had fear of,
Being a disappointment,
Not carrying my weight,
But I came to resent,
That you,
Would not let me fly.
You crafted my world,
Yet I slowly died.
