It was never about you. Not the sexual abuse. Not all the physical beatings you took after the sexual abuse stopped. Not all the illicit drugs that he introduced and supplied to you. Not all the positive relationships that he systematically destroyed to intentionally isolate you. Not even when he put you in the hospital needing multiple surgeries. It wasn’t about you when the majority of your family alienated you and you specifically weren’t invited to family gatherings. All these things that happened to you are because of a Narcissistic Sociopath that Needs Help. I will never stop praying for my abuser, and his supporters, to get the help they need.
