The Loving Place

The Loving Place

When touched by love,
It won’t let go,
It’s so afraid,
To let anything show.
So hooked to time,
but times full of pain,
Nothing is as kind,
As summer rain.
Held in a lock,
That has no key,
Dying of shock,
In a cold lonely sea,
it hurts like a knife,
Cutting through the part,
The loving place,
In my heart.
