Widowed Love

Widowed Love

I cried 1000 tears,
The day that he left me.
And threw away the years,
Of life and ecstasy.
I begged him not to go,
But he laughed uneasily,
and said he could not say no,
to this man so openly.
So he started his motorcycle,
And he sadly left,
and I got on my bicycle.
and horrified,
I wept.
I knew I would never again,
See my knight in shining armor.
I know I should begin,
With yet some other.
I could not just go through,
And let my true love die.
I said to myself how could you,
Just turn and say goodbye?
You must go after him,
And show him that you care.
Let him know that you’re more than a friend,
But, I wouldn’t dare.
I let my true love go,
to do his deadly deed.
I let my true love go,
In the end I knew he’d bleed.
